Pathology Physician

JOB DESCRIPTION : Medical center in Pennsylvania seeking a BE / BC AP / CP pathologist to join two affiliated practice locations. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package offered. The candidate must have experience signing out pathology cases without supervision. The pathologist will join the present pathologist and Medical Director of these two hospital departments. This is a 0.75 to full time position with flexible schedule. HOSPITAL : This independent acute care community hospital is the sole community provider in the area and nearly every specialty of medicine and surgery is represented by the active medical staff. Services include advanced imaging with PET / CT, MRI, 64-slice CT, nuclear medicine, and cardiac catheterization lab doing PCI without open heart backup. Other specialty services include a Wound Care Center, Women's Diagnostic Imaging Center, inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit, inpatient acute rehabilitation unit, outpatient Human Motion Institute, comprehensive sleep disorders lab, advanced neurodiagnostics lab, community dialysis center, weight management and bariatric surgery program, and an intensivist program.
