Salary Range : $67,500 - $93,300

Bonus Eligibility : No

Work Schedule : 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM (or until tasks are completed), Monday through Friday. Weekend work may be required based on business needs.

About the Role : As an Inventory Control Manager, you will play a critical role in our Inventory Management team. You will be responsible for designing and executing demand planning, customer forecasting, supply planning, and product deployment to optimize inventory costs while exceeding service requirements.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Lead and motivate a team of inventory control associates to ensure timely distribution and receipt of products while achieving productivity and quality standards.
  • Manage all aspects of inventory control operations, including optimizing inventory levels and ensuring efficient warehouse processes.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX Reporting requirements and participate in quality assurance events.
  • Implement inventory best practices, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee workforce scheduling for effective selection, replenishment, and shipping of merchandise.
  • Develop and maintain an effective inventory tracking system.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of inventory levels and stock availability.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and address shrinkage issues.
  • Document daily shipments and manage customer returns.
  • Engage in employee development through training, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate effectively with HR and other departments.
  • Participate in hiring processes and manage disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports using Excel and maintain attendance records.
  • Ensure safety compliance per OSHA and other regulations.
  • Spend the majority of your day on the warehouse floor while balancing administrative tasks.
  • Proactively manage daily inventory reports to resolve issues.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in inventory control and continuous improvement projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Manhattan) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment (MHE).
