Estimated Weekly Salary : $2240 - $2400

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

Graduate of a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program (required)

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography required within 2 years of hire

Registered Technologist (R) (M) license (required)

Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) compliance (required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (required)

At least 1 year of experience in Mammography (preferred)

Ability to work on a Mobile Mammography Van, including some weekends

Radiology Job Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic medical mammograms to assist in disease or trauma detection

Program and operate mammography equipment for optimal imaging quality

Maintain and operate mammography equipment safely, following radiation safety protocols

Conduct and document all QA / QC tests in accordance with MQSA standards

Provide mobile mammography services as needed

Maintain accurate patient records and deliver exceptional patient care
