Beautician

Lyonsview Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled beautician at our skilled nursing facility located in Knoxville, TN. As a Beautician at Lyonsview, you will provide haircuts and styling for both men and women, along with other grooming services based on resident needs. Your work will directly support our commitment to helping residents look and feel their best in a caring, respectful environment.

This position is part time working up to 6 hours a day.

Job Requirements:

• Active Cosmetology License in state of TN
• Prior experience as a beautician or cosmetologist
• Knowledge of salon services and techniques appropriate for elderly clients
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to manage independent scheduling

Job Responsibilities May Include:

• Provide hair care services to residents including according to individual preferences and needs
• Offer grooming services such as beard trims and shaves as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment that complies with infection control standards
• Schedule and manage resident appointments
• Demonstrate patience, compassion, and respect while working with residents
• Sanitize tools, equipment, and work areas after each use in accordance with state and facility guidelines
• Maintain proper inventory of supplies
