Data Center Design Manager / Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Design Manager / Project Manager with a background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering to lead and deliver data center projects. This is a strategic role responsible for managing project design, coordinating with clients, and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery while supporting team growth and discipline development. This role can sit in SF or LA.

The opportunity includes :

• Leading the effective and efficient delivery of data center projects, managing the performance of the technical team consisting of both internal and external project team resources, in full compliance with corporate standards
• Serving as the primary client-facing contact for design-related matters. Managing stakeholders, client expectations and relationships
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring integration of Mechanical or Electrical systems.
• Developing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Assisting in defining project schedule, staffing and cost targets.
• Delivering work to a high standard of quality, client satisfaction and profitability
• Assisting leadership in developing data center business regionally, identifying opportunities with current and new clients, developing client relationships and leading major bids
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers on technical and project management skills.
• Ensuring compliance with company standards, quality, and sustainability goals.
• Collaborating with leadership to align team structure and project strategy.

The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in San Francisco is $163,392 to $188,550 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of San Francisco will differ.
