Library Branch Manager

Salary: $55,850.00 – $88,090.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Develop goals, plans, programs and procedures for the branch.
- Determine collection needs and manage acquisition and disposal of materials.
- Plan and prepare public programs, including literacy, children’s storytime and computer training.
- Provide reference services and outreach to schools and community groups.
- Plan budget, prepare projections and reports, and maintain attendance, fees and payroll records.
- Ensure timely repairs of facility and coordinate with volunteers.
- Supervise staff: schedule, evaluate performance, provide training and enforce personnel rules.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree (or higher) in Library Science or related field from an ALA‑accredited institution.
- Three (3) years of professional librarian experience with at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
