What You’ll Do

• Install elevators, escalators, and mechanical walkways with accuracy and care.

• Respond quickly to mechanical failures and system malfunctions.

• Install and test electrical systems to ensure proper performance.

• Perform routine maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

• Repair or replace system components as needed.

• Lubricate and maintain moving parts for smooth operation.

• Conduct thorough safety inspections to meet and exceed safety standards.

• Manage inventory and order necessary supplies.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.

• Relevant mechanical certification.

• Proven experience as an elevator mechanic.

• Strong understanding of elevator systems, escalators, and mechanical walkways.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.15 - $46.15/hr.
