We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector with strong attention to detail and a passion for excellence to join our team in Ontario, CA. The QC Inspector plays a key role in ensuring our products meet customer requirements and industry standards through precise inspection and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a balance of drive, humility, and people skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished parts to determine classification for acceptance, rework, or scrap.
\n
• Measure product dimensions using inspection instruments such as spline gages, thread gages, ID/OD micrometers, calipers, profilometers, and comparators.
\n
• Compare inspection results with customer specifications and engineering requirements to verify conformance.
\n
• Review work orders and sampling plans to determine inspection criteria in accordance with customer and industry standards.
\n
• Accurately record inspection and test data (e.g., hardness, size, surface finish, run-out, and quantities inspected).
\n
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including defect reports for customer disposition.
\n
• Perform mold inspections, custom final inspections, hand inspections, and Vario operator tasks.
\n
• Collaborate with quality inspectors/technicians and production staff to resolve quality issues.
\n
• Maintain organized inspection records and support continuous improvement activities.
\n
• Serve as backup for mold inspection, quality technician, Vario operator, custom final inspection, and hand inspection.
\n
• Measure first articles and generate First Article Inspection (FAIR) reports in accordance with customer and industry requirements.
\n
• Perform tool verifications to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.
\n
• Coordinate and set up 3rd party calibration services, including sending tools out for calibration and tracking their status.
\n
• Maintain calibration of inspection tools and equipment within the company's calibration program.
\n
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• This position requires access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Therefore, only U.S. Persons (as defined by ITAR) are eligible for employment.
\n
• Minimum 2 years of inspection experience (aerospace industry experience preferred).
\n
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
\n
• Strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
\n
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Proven attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability.
\n
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and job responsibilities.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
\n
• Manual dexterity to handle small parts and precision instruments.

• Adherence to all company safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with Cal/OSHA standards.
