Position Overview

We invite a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become part of an expanding team of imaging specialists committed to providing excellent care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound studies, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Guarantee patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, clearly explaining each stage with kindness
• Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to supply high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and uphold imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions to ensure optimal functionality
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent authority
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
