Position Overview :
As a Direct Care Staff member at Casa Angelica, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the daily lives of the individuals we support. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily activities, and promote independence, all while ensuring a high standard of respect and dignity for the residents. Your role will involve direct interaction with residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being, and maintaining a positive, enriching environment.

Compensation : $17 - $17.50 hourly
Responsibilities :
Resident Care : Provide physical and emotional support to residents in their daily activities, including personal hygiene, feeding, mobility assistance, and more.Support Independence : Encourage residents to perform activities to the best of their ability, fostering independence and self-esteem.Health Monitoring : Observe and document changes in residents' health, including behavior, mood, and physical condition. Report any significant changes to the supervisor or medical team.Communication : Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and your team to ensure the highest standard of care.Safety : Ensure a safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety protocols.Team Collaboration : Work closely with other care staff and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care.Documentation : Maintain accurate records of resident care, activities, and any changes in condition, in compliance with regulatory standards.Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED
(required); additional certifications in healthcare (CNA, HHA, etc.) are a plus.Experience :
Previous experience in direct care, healthcare, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.Skills :
Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.Strong communication skills.Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift, assist with mobility, and perform physical tasks related to resident care.Background Check :
