Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location Cuyahoga County, OH Job Type Full-Time / Part-Time Job Description Helpful Hearted Providers Inc. is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) throughout Cuyahoga County, Ohio .
As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and community settings.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, responsible, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
We provide paid training for qualified candidates.
Pay & Benefits $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience and complexity of care) Medical benefits available after 90 days of employment Paid Time Off (PTO) available after 1 year anniversary Paid training Flexible scheduling Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and dressing Administer medications (as trained and certified) Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping Provide transportation to appointments and community activities Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) Complete accurate daily documentation Promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion Maintain a safe and supportive environment Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required Valid Ohio driver’s license Reliable personal transportation Ability to pass background check and drug screening in accordance with Ohio DODD requirements CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required Why Join Helpful Hearted Providers Inc.?
