Consumer Loan Processor - Immediate Opening - 35 Hour Work Week
- Salary Range : $23.21-$27.85 / hr (Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge)
- 35-hour work week
- 4 weeks of paid time off

This role focuses on identifying each member's financial needs and recommending appropriate solutions. It includes handling initial loan application steps, processing and funding approved loans, and tracking some post-loan activities. Strong customer service and attention to detail are essential.

We are a full-service, credit union serving members of various Health Care organizations.
About the Position :
This position is responsible for helping our members achieve their financial goals by providing initial member contact, preparation of consumer loan applications for decision, funding the loan, disbursing the proceeds, and after-booking tracking.
Key Responsibilities :
Loan Application Screening
Confirm membership eligibilityEnsure application details are complete and accurateMatch loan type to purpose and collateralPull credit reports and assess applicant qualificationsGather required documents (e.g., paystubs, insurance, purchase orders)Loan Processing and Disbursement
Review loan conditions and verify accuracy in system (Symitar)Prepare and send loan documents for signatureDisburse funds and confirm repayment methodsAssemble and deliver loan packages to membersScan and track required documentationMember & Staff Service
Provide professional support via phone, email, and in personAssist members with the loan processCross-sell credit union products and servicesExplain loan decisions and proceduresHelp resolve basic account issues and process transfersLoan Auditing
Review loan setup for accuracy (term, payment, method)Proofread loan documents and organize scan packagesPost-Booking Tracking
Manage vehicle title documentation and lien placementRelease titles and update accounts for paid-off loansScan and maintain loan documentsTrack insurance coverage and follow up as neededGeneral Support
Handle departmental mail and internal emailsFile documents, process billing noticesAssist with various administrative tasksCore Competencies
