Advertised Job Summary
The NELI Research Group in the Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior in the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina is seeking a dedicated postdoctoral research associate with a strong focus on early childhood development and nutrition. Our interdisciplinary research team employs a variety of methodologies, including community-based research and randomized trials to understand the critical exposures that influence maternal and child health and development and the types and combinations of early life interventions that impact these outcomes. The postdoctoral research associate will contribute to research focused on advancing global maternal and child health, nutrition, and development in resource-limited settings.
As a postdoctoral research associate, you will play an essential role in supporting a study funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) titled “Impact of combined nutrition, responsive parenting, and health intervention on childhood development (BUNDLE) study”. We encourage fellows to also develop their own research program within the fields of nutrition, global health, and early childhood development. This 1-year position, with opportunity for reappointment, offers a competitive 12-month salary, along with a comprehensive benefits package in accordance with the University of South Carolina’s policies.
