Key Responsibilities

  • Define and establish the target enterprise architecture aligned with business and technology strategy.
  • Lead the migration of PCF, WebLogic, and Tomcat-based applications to Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) .
  • Architect, design, and implement microservices-based applications using Java Spring Boot .
  • Provide architectural guidance on API Gateway , integration frameworks , and cloud-native services .
  • Review system configurations including hardware , software , and messaging components to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps best practices including CI / CD, automation, monitoring, and container orchestration.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and performance standards across the architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, infrastructure, and operations) to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Design, define, and implement a comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) plan for business continuity.
  • Mentor technical teams and establish architectural best practices across the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in J2EE , WebLogic , and Apache Tomcat .
  • Exposure to PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and cloud-native architectures .
  • Expertise in Microservices , Java Spring Boot , and API Gateway implementations.
  • Deep understanding of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) databases.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.).
  • Proven experience in cloud platforms , preferably Microsoft Azure .
  • Experience in defining and executing migration strategies to AKS or other Kubernetes-based environments.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure , networking , and security architecture principles .
  • Experience designing and implementing Disaster Recovery and High Availability solutions.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
