Opportunity :

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details :

  • Work 4x10 hour shifts (07 : 00-17 : 30) or 5x8 hour shifts (07 : 00-15 : 30)
  • 40 hours per week guaranteed
  • Schedule primarily Tuesday-Friday with every other Saturday
  • One weekend shift per month if weekend team member needs coverage
  • No call responsibilities
  • Float to like acuities or less if needed
  • BLS certification required
  • ARDMS certification required or CCI RCS required
  • Registered Ultrasound tech preferred
  • North Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license preferred
  • 2 years experience in ultrasound field required
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Background in related healthcare field (Cardiopulmonary or Ultrasound preferred)
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Must live outside 50-mile radius
  • Scrub top and bottom can be solid or have design (appropriate designs only)
  • Scrub colors cannot be light blue or royal blue
  • Perform echocardiograms, carotid doppler studies, and transesophageal echos
  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients of all ages (newborn through geriatric)
  • Average of 8 studies per day
  • 16 hours of orientation provided
  • Skills required include 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, TEE, and stress echo procedures
