Salary Range $80,000 to $90,000

- Create and maintain a "Best in Class" operation by directly managing the recruiting and selection of personnel who meet or exceed the operation's pre-determined skill levels, testing results, and qualifications.
- Manages shift supervisors to ensure the safe execution of daily workload.
- Continuous daily communication with the general manager, supervisors and associates to sustain quality and performance.
- Communicates successes and opportunities to the general manager, supervisors, associates, and customer as appropriate.
- Communicates supervisor and associate performance to ensure quality personnel and sufficient staffing.
- Track and manage / communicate shift productivity goals via training, coaching, disciplining, and setting expectations for supervisors and associates.
- Maintain warehouse sanitation to AIB standards.
- Interviewing and recommending associates for 2nd interviews.
- Track and manage equipment to ensure availability and safe operation.
- Develop and maintain shift handoff process to ensure success among shifts.
- Help to lead process improvement projects.
- Help to develop work standards for daily activities, audits, etc. that continues to support the business.
- Coordinates new hire orientation and enhanced "hands on" training program.
- Team level focus on problems and resolutions / corrective actions.
- Daily warehouse inspection to review areas needing improvements, communication with supervisors to ensure corrective actions taken immediately.
- Maintain an open-door policy and respond to employee concerns in timely manner.
- Ensure employees and associates follow company policies and procedures.
- Continually evaluate operations to minimize service and financial risk. Eliminate, reduce, and / or communicate findings or concerns.
- Supervise and prioritize product "Hold" processes to meet customer's inventory management expectations.
- Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed company and divisional goals.
- Develop strategies to reduce cost while maintaining quality.
- Create, train, establish, and audit standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to the divisional team by sharing best practices, projects, and materials.
- Schedule regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide business updates, resolve issues and elicit ideas.
- Manage trucking operations within DOT requirements.
- Understands and trains on fire suppression systems, including knowledge of shut down in the event of non-fire accident.
- Manage building shutdown process, including locking, securing, turning off coffee pots, turning off lights and equipment.

Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Associates degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.Experience : Five or more years of supervision experience. Human Resources Knowledge Inventory Control Experience. Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Green Belt.Computer Skills : SAP Knowledge (Preferred), Network IT Experience (Preferred), Microsoft Access (Preferred), Intermediate Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Behaviors
