Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated RN Nurse Manager - Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology to lead a specialized nursing team in a dynamic hospital environment. This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee advanced cardiovascular and interventional radiology services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, clinical outcomes, and staff performance.

Position Summary

The Nurse Manager will be responsible for daily operations, staffing, compliance, and quality initiatives within the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology units. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective care in high-acuity settings.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology units.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor patient care quality, safety outcomes, and staff adherence to clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and support staff for optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage scheduling, staff assignments, and resource allocation.
• Support implementation of evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Active California Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
• BLS certification - American Heart Association (upon hire).
• California Fire and Life Safety Card (within 30 days of hire).
• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience.
• NNR certification required for designated areas (L&D, NICU, Nursery, Postpartum).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
