Job Description

As a Security Officer - Government Patrol in Milwaukee, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout government locations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license as you monitor designated areas and interact with the public. You will provide outstanding customer service, support a caring and reliable team, and contribute to a secure environment through your dedication and integrity.

Pay Rate : $18.55 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents as required.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas as directed by site-specific guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with public transit staff and members of the public to promote a secure environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
