Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.
Responsibilities include :
- Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
- Participate in hourly rounds
- Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
- Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
- Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications include :
High school diploma / GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)BLS is required within 90 days of hireHospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)Equal Opportunity Employer / including Disabled / Veterans
