As an Scheduling Coordinator and Dispatcher, you will be working with our network of interpreters to schedule and dispatch for in-person, video, and telephone interpretation jobs. Days are filled with scheduling, phone calls, emails, texts, negotiating, problem solving, and critical thinking.

We service a high volume of interpreting jobs each day, so you will be busy and the day will fly by. A successful Scheduling Coordinator and Dispatcher is cool under pressure and welcomes a challenging day. If you prefer to work in a quiet and / or slower pace, this position is not the right fit. Our coordinators are a fun group because they love what they do, why they do it, and who they do it with!

Responsibilities :

• Interpreter Coordination : Manage a team of skilled interpreters, maintaining their schedules, ensuring their readiness for assignments, and supporting them throughout the process
• Dispatch Excellence : Efficiently assign interpreters to appointments based on their expertise, location, and availability while juggling time-sensitive demands
• Client Communication : Liaise with clients to understand their language service needs and ensure a smooth interpretation process, while providing exceptional customer service
• Problem Solving : Tackle logistical challenges head-on, adapting to last-minute changes and ensuring that all parties are well-informed and comfortable with the revised arrangements
• Continuous Improvement : Collaborate with internal teams to identify areas for process optimization and contribute to the enhancement of our interpreter coordination and dispatch systems
