ABOUT
The Program Development Manager, Workforce Education, reports to the Senior Director of Development and Operations for the promotion, marketing, development, and operation of Workforce and Technical Training courses and programs. Responsible for providing end-to-end program management over new and existing programs, including program research, needs analyses, logistics planning / implementation, and evaluation, while guiding promotional and marketing activities through multiple channels.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Meet with TJC department chairs, instructors, other schools, advisory committees, and Development Manager colleagues to promote collaborative relationships, perform needs analyses for the community, and create new continuing education programs / courses through identification of market and training trends
- Use social media platforms to promote, recruit, and analyze current trends for current and future continuing education programs
- Pursue and develop relationships with TJC administration, faculty, staff, and students, as well as the general public, to facilitate the growth of CE course offerings
- Identify vendor partnerships with a clear vision of goals, strategic planning, and tactical decision-making, to recruit, interview, and secure potential new CE instructors for classes
- Participate in instructor meetings and ensure all materials are provided for instructor / class success
- Promote Continuing Education in the community by working closely with area chambers of commerce and civic organizations to determine and support local needs
- Provide the operations department with appropriate paperwork to ensure classes adhere to SACS and GIPWE guidelines
- Regularly evaluates course history, trends, and instructors' performance to determine course effectiveness
- Develop a strategic plan for meeting department revenue goals
- Ensure all Continuing Studies procedures and revenue standards are adhered to for Workforce and Technical programs

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Required Experience
Two years of business and industry or a related field
