Production Operator

Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production / processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure alignment to production / process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.

This position is for a 1st shift Production Operator on the Plastics team; you will set up and operate various machines involved with plastics injection molding processes. The hours are 7 : 00am 3 : 30pm Monday through Friday with Overtime opportunities on weekends.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare, process, wind, clean, install, assemble, rework, calibrate, test, solder and / or inspect product at different stages of assembly from component to final. Work from prints, drawings, method sheets diagrams or other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures, DBS processes and standard work
• Set up, operate and / or maintain production equipment, machines and tools using process documents, diagrams, and written instructions in support of production goals. Produces set-ups and adjustment holding tolerances to blueprint specification.
• Collect, analyze, and report data from production processes requiring basic mathematical and statistical knowledge. Counts, sorts, labels, and packages assembled materials. May disassemble and re-work and test.
• Encouraged to participate in continuous improvement as appropriate based upon assigned levels.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package. The pay range for this position (in local currency) is 18.07 - 27.11 hourly.
