Job Opportunity : It Program Manager
Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in New York, NY. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities include :
- Managing diverse administrative functions for a large, complex department or complete line of business
- Financial control / budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit / compliance, premises, and project coordination
- Consulting with senior management to evaluate current methods and develop strategies for changes and improvements
- Full management responsibility over a large team and may manage one or more levels of managers
- Enabling business operations, execution, and planning for financial management, workforce and resource management, portfolio oversight, executive leadership routines, communications, employee engagement, workspace governance, and organizational health
- Communicating, influencing, and negotiating to obtain or leverage necessary resources
- Building a thorough understanding of the business unit's function and consulting with senior management in evaluating organizational strategy
- Leading and facilitating the execution of the day-to-day business operations of the technology organization
- Serving as the point person for coordination of business activities including resource forecasting, requisition / hiring management, personnel processes, workspace governance, engagement activities, communication, and articulating risks and opportunities to forecast
- Coordinating monthly and quarterly forecasting process and reporting in partnership with Finance, managers, portfolio and program managers, and other business support leaders
- Owning and facilitating effective executive operating rhythms, overseeing the logistics, preparation of relevant materials and talking points for SLT meetings, business reviews, off-sites, etc.
- Preparing Executives for engagements with peers, senior leaders, and business partners
- Coordinating between GT Teams to ensure alignment with objectives and managing routines and requests
- Managing and driving production of consistent and appropriate documentation for routines for Technology Executives and business partners
- Partnering with Executives on managing their BAU expenses and governing their initiative portfolio, ensuring visibility of project progress against objectives and tracking decisions / approvals to forecast changes
- Driving strategies to effectively manage spend, ensuring the proper blend of resources, managing tenure, and governance of staff ramps
- Developing robust and consistent communication and engagement plans for the executives and teams supported
- Understanding the linkage of programs and projects to business strategy and portfolio priorities; ensuring roadmaps are translated into robust delivery milestones

5 or more years of experience in business operations and management in a complex organization supporting senior leadersPrior experience handling multiple facets of an end-to-end businessStrong analytical skills, with an investigative mindsetStrong partnership and relationship management skillsPrior experience managing multiple projects and adjusting to changing deadlinesStrong presentation skillsSelf-starter, high energy, and detail orientedPay range : $57.70 - $65.70
