Maintenance MechanicEvis Dept 425 Cherry (Swing)

Pay Rate : $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7 : 00pm and 11 : 59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12 : 00am-4 : 59am)

1.  Troubleshoot repair and perform preventative maintenance on all MDP grinding operation equipment throughout the area including but not limited to : Multivac machines Ossid Tray Pack equipment Segment Line equipment Wolftec Injectors Brine mixers Frigoscandia spiral freezer Ishida scales and associated equipment mechanical conveying equipment electronic label printers computers vacuum packaging machines Box making / sealing equipments metal detectors plumbing pneumatics welding reading blue prints and schematics.

2.  Generate work orders store requisitions report deficiencies.

Qualifications :

1.  Must have five years experience in poultry processing maintenance or related field.

2.  Must be able to troubleshoot and make on the spot corrections to emergency situations.

3.  Must be able to weld arc and heli-arc and use cutting torch.

4.  Must have good written and oral communication skills in English.

5.  Must be self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.

6.  Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

7.  Must be able to work from ladder safely.

8.  Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends as required

9. Must be willing to cross train in processing maintenance area.

10. Must be able to stand for prolong period of time (8-10 hrs) on a concrete / metal grate floor.
