Engineering Leader

Lead and manage a technical team to deliver engineering rigor and manufacturing excellence for the Woodland manufacturing site for process troubleshooting, control improvements, and solution deployment operational challenges.

Key responsibilities include :

• Operational engineering : Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions. Develop department and plant roadmaps with metrics for controlled manufacturing processes. Prioritize and drive continuous improvement in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, Safety, and Innovation (QCDMS+I).
• Project management and execution : Lead projects to standardize processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs in line with plant objectives. Manage capital and process improvement projects from concept to implementation, including scope, resources, equipment, construction, start-up, and validation.
• Manufacturing excellence : Apply engineering principles to integrate new control and process technologies into manufacturing. Deploy process measurement and control systems and oversee site calibration compliance. Support and improve quality management systems through documentation, audits, and corrective actions.
• Engineering rigor / technical expertise : Build cross-functional teams to solve complex operational and engineering challenges using robust change management processes. Close technical capability gaps by introducing innovative tools and systems for operations and facilities improvement. Lead efforts to enhance process reliability and support new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Leadership and development : Supervise facility and maintenance resources to achieve site objectives and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with operations management, engineers, and maintenance teams to enhance efficiency. Mentor facility personnel in engineering, process improvement, tools, and controls. Develop career strategies with leadership, focusing on strengths, opportunities, and growth. Create professional development plans and manage progress through SMART goals and continuing education.

The range for this position is $121,605.00 - $167,207.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
