House Manager In Training (Group Home)- Social Worker

Description:

We are seeking a House Managers in Training to work with foster children between the ages of 3-18 in our group homes located in Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Phoenix, and Avondale.

Responsibilities:

• Learn the duties and obligations of the house manager role.
• Maintain a safe, productive, pleasant, and joyful environment for children living within SRH group homes.
• Implement, monitor, and document the daily schedule, interactions, and positive behavioral management techniques.
• Facilitate therapeutic, recreational, and social skills.
• Manage and supervise staff and resources.
• Adhere to agency standards of practice for clients, staff, and the public.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS BELOW WILL BE VERIFIED. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN NOT MEET THE CRITERIA BELOW:

• Must have at least six months paid childcare experience and at least 3 1/2 years of any combination of the following:
• 1. Paid child care or related experience; or2. Post-high school education in social work or a related field.
• Must be 21 or older
• Must have a VALID AZ driver license with CLEAN 5 Year driving record
• Must have a level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card or be eligible to obtain one
• Must have personal vehicle and proof of auto insurance

Working hours:

While in Training: Two Schedules to choose from (if available)

1. Tue- Sat

Tue-Fri: 1:00PM – 10:00PM

Sat: 8:00AM- 10:00P

2. Sun-Thur

Mon-Thur: 1:00PM – 10:00PM

Sun: 8:00AM-10:00PM

• Once promoted to House Manager role, shift changes to Monday through Friday from 6am to 4:30 pm with on-call phone to provide support to staff and clients 24/7.
