[job_card.job_description]Preferred : BA / BS in Computer Science or business-related field Equivalent experience may be substituted for education Minimum six years in hospital systems analysis and installations with an understanding of the function of hospital, relationships among departments, andoverall organization of the institution Working experience with intermediate project management principles including directing the activities of other resources assigned to the project Clinical or Financial system implementation knowledge and experience Knowledge of SQL, DB structure, PC MS applications, file transfers and interfacing Education of customers in system concepts and operation Experience with Meditech Client Server and / or Cerner Systems, preferred Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm Able to troubleshoot, including areas involving no previous experience Outstanding customer service skills Prioritize workload and meet deadlines Work cooperatively as a team member Strong oral and written communication skills Frequent sitting and standing / walking with frequent position change. Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities requiring fingering, grasping, and forward reaching between waist and chest level. Occasional / intermittent reaching at or above shoulder level. Occasional / intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing / pulling, twisting, and climbing. Occasional / intermittent lifting and carrying objects / equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. Continuous use of near vision, hearing and verbal communication skills in handling telephone calls, interacting with customers and co-workers and performing job duties.
Job Summary
The Senior System Analyst is responsible for assisting in the evaluation of Patient Financial Services (PFS) computer applications, implementation, training, testing, support, and optimization of assigned computer applications; project management including planning, implementation, and close out phases of the project.
