Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Inpatient Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will :

• Draw blood samples from patients (fingers, heels, or veins) using aseptic techniques.
• Ensure accurate collection of the correct type and amount of specimen.
• Document all requests and accurately release lab work results.
• Notify physicians promptly of released lab results.
• Manage appropriate routing, handling, and processing of various medical specimens.
• Order, distribute, and maintain stock of supplies as needed.
• Train and provide performance feedback for other lab assistants.
• Handle a daily patient load of 60-80 individuals with efficiency and care.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 / hr.
