HB Design & Build is a growing Design / Build studio, looking for individuals to join our fabrication team. We work on small-to-mid-scale residential and commercial projects, using a wide range of construction methods and materials. Our work is carefully constructed, highly detailed, and rarely conventional.

We are looking for someone with 2-5+ years of experience in millwork / carpentry. We self-perform all aspects of Design / Build projects, from rough framing to finish detailing. Candidates must have the capacity to work at all scales and tolerances.

We fabricate and install high end, custom millwork in our projects. Most projects involve fabrication of custom millwork and arch elements that are built in our shop (in Providence) and installed by our team. Experience in framing (both wood and metal), trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry is required.

The right candidate is able to create high-end work. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, curious, diligent, and focused. There are lots of opportunities to learn, progress, and ultimately take on plenty of responsibility. Pay rate will be based on applicants’ prior experience, performance and skill level.
