Fleet Compliance Assistant

Responsible for assisting the fleet team in compliance activities. Distribute all necessary permits required by federal, state and local regulations. Will also provide support as related to asset registration, titling, and data management.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and renew all permits and send to the field.
  • Perform data entry in telematics and Encompass asset management systems.
  • Assist the Director of Transportation Compliance in Titling, Registration.
  • Audits Driver Qualification files, vehicle maintenance and monitors the Encompass system and sends out notifications to the locations.
  • Assist with Random DOT Drug & Alcohol pool.
  • Files Fuel taxes.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • DOT regulations knowledge and experience required.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations for permitting process.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all projects and an ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to multi-task projects and required tasks in an organized fashion.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as self-motivated in individual projects.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written to all levels of the organization.
  • Sensitive to confidential information.
