The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Associate or Full Professor in the areas of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus to expand our academic practice. There is an immediate opportunity to engage in a busy tertiary clinical practice in an established longstanding department with a brand new state-of-the-art clinic and surgery addition to providing excellence in patient care ample opportunities exist to develop independent and collaborative research and innovative education models in a dynamic academic clinical department. Minimum Requirements :
Requirements include completion of an approved residency program as well as postgraduate fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and certification or eligibility and eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in Florida are prerequisites.
Preferred Qualifications :
Qualifications in addition to clinical expertise include a strong commitment to teaching resident training and research as well as participation in academic activities. Experience in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus is will provide medical and surgical services to pediatric patients within UF Health facilities and affiliated locations.
