Production Test Technician - Direct Hire

The Production Test Technician Level 3 position is located in Billerica, MA. This role is crucial in supporting advanced X-ray technologies that enhance security at ports and borders worldwide, contributing to the fight against terrorism and smuggling.

Shift of the Production Test Technician:
1st Shift, Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30 AM (flexible up to 7 AM).

Pay Rate/Salary of the Production Test Technician:
$30 - $33 per hour.

Responsibilities of the Production Test Technician:

• Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Work with electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical test fixtures, contributing to future design improvements.
• Execute test specifications, methods, and procedures from prints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot components, assemblies, and final systems, completing rework as necessary.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.

Qualifications of the Production Test Technician:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical diploma preferred.
• 2+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting large capital equipment.
• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and digital multi-meters.
• Ability to install and configure computer hardware and software.
• Strong assembly skills and knowledge of common hand tools.
