Join our dedicated team in the Medical / Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist - D4N unit as a Clinical Nurse III. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Registered Professional Nurse. The position focuses on providing exceptional care for patients during their acute care stay, ensuring they receive the best possible support for a smooth transition towards discharge.

Salary Range : $88,192.00 - $136,697.60
As a Clinical Nurse III, you will :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, while documenting all treatment according to company policy and relevant regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess patients' conditions.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and their responses to care provided.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to design a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
- Guide and support ancillary personnel to uphold standards of professional nursing practice.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduated from a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).Hold a current NYS Registered Nurse license.Obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Previous experience as a PCA or other nursing assistant is preferred.Demonstrate a commitment to improving job performance through continuing education.Possess knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and demonstrate the ability to apply them to enhance patient care quality.Thank you for considering a career with Albany Medical Center.
