Candidate Overview – CSR Role at McKesson Cary

📍 Worksite Location: 11800 Weston Parkway, Cary, NC 27513 Workplace Type: On-site, 5 days/week

💵 Pay Rate: $20.40 per hour

🕒 Work Schedule

Monday–Friday: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Rotating Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM every 6–8 weeks

When scheduled on Saturday → One weekday off (Tue, Wed, Thu, or Fri)

📍 Work Location

Onsite for first 90 days

Afterwards → Potential hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH)

Hybrid eligibility is based on attendance and performance

🎯 Required Skills / Experience

Great communication skills

Basic problem-solving

Typing speed: 35+ WPM

At least 1 year of high‑volume call center experience

📝 Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction

Handle inbound calls for non‑clinical inquiries (prescription status, financial info)

Make outbound calls for medication delivery scheduling and payment updates

Answer patient questions and route calls to clinical teams (pharmacists/nurses) when needed

Administrative & Support Tasks

Document concise progress notes for workflow continuity

Manage refill inquiries, insurance verification, and invoice requests

Ensure accurate information for pharmacy distribution and timely shipments

Compliance & Safety

Identify and report adverse events (AEs) or product complaints (PCs) to clinicians

Other Duties

Tasks may vary depending on team/program needs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $20.40/hr.
