Musicologie Anderson is seeking an instructor to serve as an Assistant Teacher for any of its upcoming summer camps at its studio this July. The person hired for the position should be a passionate educator who enjoys sharing the joy of music with young minds while being both patient and energetic.
Camp dates and hours:
The Mini Musicians Summer Camp is designed for young children ages 4 to 6 who are new to music, letting them experience the joy of music through rhythm games, simple improvisation, instrument exploration, nature sounds, and musical movement. Music Explorers Camp is designed for kids ages 7 to 10 with or without any prior music experience, and will guide them through different types of music while incorporating creative projects that encourage collaboration and self-expression. And our Rock Band Bootcamp is meant for students ages 11 to 15 who already have music experience, giving them a chance to learn about rock music and jam like a band.
As a Summer Camp Assistant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a fun and engaging learning environment for our young campers. You will support the Lead Teacher in running the camp activities, facilitating group sessions, and assisting with various musical projects and workshops.
