Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient Hematology / Oncology Clinic position requiring an IL RN license and ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an outpatient Hematology / Oncology Clinic setting
  • Ambulatory oncology patient population
  • 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday day shifts from 8 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Possible use of Epic EMR, with experience preferred
  • Provide specialized nursing care to oncology and hematology patients in an outpatient setting
  • Facilitate therapeutic relationships between patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • EPIC EMR and previous travel experience are preferred but not required
  • Manager will conduct interviews before extending offers

  • Active Illinois RN license required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current American Heart Association BLS / CPR certification
  • ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required
  • Minimum 1 year of ambulatory nursing experience required
  • Oncology nursing experience required
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
