Job Description

Permanent Full Time RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist position in a Vernon Hills, IL general dental practice. They are looking for Monday 830-6, Tuesday 9-6, Wednesday 830-530, Thursday 7-6, Friday 8-12. This practice offers a sign on bonus, competitive daily bonuses, annual scrub allowance, Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability Insurance and Paid Maternity Leave. You can even pick up shifts at other offices in their network for additional days. #1568

a thriving dental practice and are seeking an RDH Dental Hygienist to join our established and

dedicated team. We are searching for a part-time or full-time member of our staff. Benefits included.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling

and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays

  • Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of

    • effective oral hygiene methods

  • Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and / or

    • periodontal needs

  • Obtain and review dental history and / or records from patient (review patient health history and care

    • slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients

    Qualifications

    Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
