Pinnacle Healthcare, Inc dba Paul Jain, MD&Associates is an outpatient Internal Medicine / Pain Management clinical practice with 6 locations. This specific position will be for a full time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to staff our Mission Valley office.

There is also an opportunity to work on a part time schedule of 12 days or less / month. Our current need is specifically : all Mondays, 3 Tuesdays, 2 Wednesdays, 1 Thursday and 2 Fridays per month for a prorated salary

Role Description

Physician Assistant - $130-200k+ / year (salary based on experience), all outpatient, no wknds / call, full benefits with a full time medical scribe who will assist in writing your reports and help with admin duties.

This is a full-time on-site role as a Physician Assistant located in the San Diego Metropolitan Area. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient care, conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role also entails patient education and the maintenance of accurate patient records. No evenings, weekends, or on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a current state license
• Proficiency in conducting musculoskeletal and neurologic physical exams, diagnosing, and treating spinal, joint and brain injuries
• Experience in ordering, interpreting tests, and prescribing non narcotic analgesic medications
• Experience in performing trigger point injections for muscle spasms, cortisone joint injections
• Excellent patient communication and education skills.
• Ability to speak Spanish highly preferred
• Ability to maintain accurate patient records
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• BLS certification
• Relevant experience in an outpatient setting is a plus
