[job_card.job_description]Work 12-hour night shifts from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM Guaranteed 36 hours per week Float requirement : First to float within skillset to Deaconess Midtown (8 miles) and potential to Deaconess Henderson, KY (11 miles) 2-hour notice given for cross campus float assignments Weekend requirement : Three weekends out of every six-week schedule Holiday requirement : Every other holiday Patient ratio : Night shift 1 : 6-7 patients Required certifications : Current active compact license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum two years of strong cardiac / tele experience and 1 travel assignment required Recent EPIC charting experience required with mandatory checkoff class Must pass telemetry tests for 12-lead EKG interpretation Dress code : Navy blue scrubs with no competing health system or agency logos Care for post cardiac procedure patients, A-fib RVR, ESRD, CHF, sepsis, tracheostomies, and behavioral health / detox patients Perform heart cath recovery, PIV insertion, chest tube management, drip management, and central line care May require precepting of students and new hires Strong assessment and critical thinking skills required 3 call-ins can result in termination Referral bonus
