As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed patrol posts.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or security-related incidents.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and local authorities as appropriate to report and address security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to those on site.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
