Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation regulations.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.
Engage in continuous learning to enhance skills and knowledge in radiation therapy.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
Monitor patient responses to therapy and report any changes.
Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient treatment plans.
Utilize performance metrics to assess and improve treatment effectiveness.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment processes and expectations.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of radiation therapy equipment.
Contribute to team meetings and share insights for process improvement.
Experience / Qualifications
Valid state license as a Radiation Therapist in California.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Experience with radiation therapy equipment and safety protocols.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new techniques in radiation therapy.
Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
Familiarity with performance metrics and treatment effectiveness assessment.
Ability to monitor and document patient responses accurately.
Detail-oriented approach to maintaining patient records and documentation.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to contribute insights for process improvement in team meetings.
