Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a visionary long-term strategy for the division.

  • Ensure the fiscal health and sustainability of our pediatric emergency department.
  • Establish a robust clinical research program.
  • Foster collaborative efforts to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Recruit, support, and develop top-tier talent within our division.
  • Advocate for faculty and invest in their professional development.

    • Qualifications

  • MD or DO with board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Alabama.
  • Academic rank of Associate or Full Professor at the University of South Alabama.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to education, mentorship, and scholarly activity.
