About Us :

Dykstras Auto Service is a trusted leader in automotive repair and maintenance. We are seeking a motivated General Service Technician to join our Kentwood team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to grow in the automotive industry.

Location : 4450 Stauffer Ave SE Kentwood MI 49508

SHOP HOURS : M-F : 7 : 30AM-5 : 30PM EST

Position Overview :

As a General Service Technician you will perform routine maintenance and light repair tasks to keep vehicles running smoothly. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start or advance their career in auto service.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform oil changes tire rotations and fluid checks
  • Inspect and replace filters belts and hoses
  • Assist with brake services and other minor repairs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and service advisors

Qualifications :

  • Basic automotive knowledge or willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
