Work Shift : Nights (36 hours / week)
Salary Range : $83,200.00 - $93,184.00
The Colorectal Surgery and Urology Unit features 22 semi-private rooms, providing specialized post-surgical care for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgeries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with essential procedures including chest tube insertion, central line placement, wound vac changes, nasogastric (NG) tube insertions, Cortrak placement, and catheter management.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop coordinated care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medications, including over-the-counter and prescription drugs, and document all treatments in accordance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions effectively.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and recovery.
- Guide and mentor ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.
Qualifications :
