Power Engineering Technical Lead

A company is looking for a Technical Lead focused on Microgrid & BESS Design Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Develop innovative designs and costing for switchgear and other OEMs, ensuring scalability across projects

Lead the full life-cycle of BESS and DER project design from conceptualization to full system design

Manage engineering consultants in preparing detailed engineering and construction drawings and specifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power

4+ years of experience in power / generation / renewable energy project design and construction

In-depth understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, UL, ISO)

Experience with AutoCAD for creating conceptual diagrams and site layouts

Knowledge of distributed energy technologies including solar, battery, and reciprocating engines / turbines
