Advertised Job Summary :
The Children’s Law Center is looking for someone to lead a team; deliver training and resources for prosecutors, law enforcement, and child welfare professionals; and help support the Children’s Justice Act Task Force. This position also teaches at the law school, mentors students, and will work to strengthen the Center’s role within the law school. This position offers the opportunity to combine leadership, training, and teaching to improve how South Carolina responds to child maltreatment. Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience :
Law degree, membership in South Carolina Bar, and minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney in criminal or civil proceedings related to child abuse and neglect.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in both criminal and civil child abuse proceedings is preferred. At least one year administrative or managerial experience is preferred. Training or public speaking experience is strongly preferred. Experience teaching at the post-secondary level is preferred.

Develops and delivers training programs on child abuse and neglect for multi-disciplinary professionals, including prosecutors, law enforcement officers, and child welfare staff; administers the forensic interviewing training program.
