Principal Accountabilities
Perform maintenance on production machinery using hand tools.Ensure food safety and quality at all stages of production.Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping within the work area.Respond to maintenance-related radio calls from other departments.Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.Document daily work assigned in both paper form and maintenance management system (SAP).Troubleshoot and repair complex issues on production equipment.Utilize inventory parts for repairs, documenting all transactions.Identify potential problems and suggest improvements in operational processes.Perform advanced preventative maintenance (PM) on plant equipment.Use measuring devices accurately for troubleshooting and repairs.Two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.Must be 18 years or older.Able to perform physical tasks including kneeling, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.Proficient in using tools and working on mechanical and pneumatic components.Basic computer skills are necessary.Able to troubleshoot electrical power and control systems.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in basic welding.Recent work history within the past 12 months.Able to operate forklifts and other motorized equipment.Experience programming PLCs using schematics and ladder logic.Completion of an industrial maintenance certification program.Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience with verified preventative maintenance (PM) experience in a manufacturing environment.Please note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement.
