The DDC Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and finalizing projects according to the specifications and schedule, all while keeping the project within budget.
Essential Duties Include but are not limited to :
- Overseeing quality control throughout the life of the project while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
- Setting goals and objectives for the team and managing performance accordingly
- Managing the field staff and subcontractors as well as minimizing project risks until successful project completion.
Requirements
Qualifications preferred for job candidates :
3+ years of DDC Project Management experienceWorking knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office productsMust have a good working knowledge of the building construction tradesMust possess excellent people and organizational skillsMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to manage multiple projects at one timeMust have experience with budgets and cost-trackingExperience with project meetings and working with subcontractorsStrong comprehension of plans and specifications for construction projectsFlexibility to work outside normal work hours / weekends, as requiredMust be self-motivated and able to multitaskAbility to work independently with limited supervisionSpecific knowledge of Distech, Siemens, Trend, and other Tridium-based systems is a plus but not a requirement.The position requires the candidate to have the ability to lift up to 70 lbs in assistance of loading, unloading, and storing materials and equipment. The position will also require bending, climbing, pulling, pushing, balancing, kneeling, twisting, standing and climbing stairs and ladders
