Cataract / Refractive Surgeon

A well-renowned San Francisco ophthalmology practice is interviewing to add another cataract / refractive surgeon. The group currently has two surgeons and is looking to add another due to demand and so that the practice owner can lower their volume. The new surgeon will be able to assume patients from current surgeons and build clinical volume quickly – support staff does basically everything for you pre and post-op, including converting patients to premium lenses. The practice's current conversion rate is about 90%. Surgery is done OBS or at an ASC. Buy-in option for partnership immediately available. There is no hospital call required.

Compensation will be a base salary of $350,000-$400,000 with realistic earning potential over $1million year 1.

Surgical volume will be 50 / 50 cataract and refractive surgeries.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) / Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified / Eligible
• Completion of a Fellowship preferred but not required
