Job Purpose

The Community Cook is responsible for preparing meals in a safe and appealing manner, adhering to dietary standards and food-related community policies and procedures.

The role also includes working as a Sandwich, Deli, and Pizza Attendant in our Bistro, involving light cooking and serving. Prior experience in hospitality is a plus.

Working Conditions

This position works in a fast-paced kitchen with exposure to heat, flames, cold temperatures, slippery floors and sharp cooking tools. The Cook may work in close contact with others. The Cook must comply with food safety regulations, which include appropriate clothing and protective gear such as hairnets, masks, disposable gloves and slip-resistant shoes.
